Tran Hang My was born in Hanoi. They received the Chautauqua Janus Prize in 2019. Their writing has appeared in AGNI, Conjunctions, Fairy Tale Review, and elsewhere. My holds an MFA from Brown University and is a PhD candidate at the University of Denver, where they serve as the prose editor for Denver Quarterly. They are currently at work on a travel novel.
