Tran Hang My was born in Hanoi. They received the Chautauqua Janus Prize in 2019. Their writing has appeared in AGNI, Conjunctions, The Paris Review, and elsewhere. My holds an MFA from Brown University and a PhD from University of Denver. They are based in Melbourne, currently at work on a novel that indulges in mad parties, affairs, flirtations, and days on end of wicked games.
